Director of Bands and Choruses Grades 5-12
Mr. Ben Hendricksmeyer attended college at Hannibal-LaGrange University pursuing a Music in Worship Arts degree. He was in band and choir at HLGU. He also was a multi-instrumentalist on the HLGU Chapel Worship Team. He hails from Keokuk, Iowa where he keeps his time busy with also being Worship Pastor for Church of the Full Gospel. Marilyn Eidson
K-4 music and 5th and 6th grade Chorus
Mrs. Marilyn Eidson graduated from Western Illinois University with Bachelors in Music Education.
After teaching in Liberty Illinois, she substituted for many years in every grade and subject. She also had a home day care when her 4 children were young. Working in a dietary department as a cook and manager in a nursing home for 10 years was a change of pace but she decided to come back to substituting. The opportunity came for elementary music and she went for it!
Her goal is to provide an understanding of music to enhance the everyday enjoyment and to give students a head start if they wish to continue in band / choir.
